Protein Powder FAQs

Everything you need to know about our plant based protein powders. If you need more help then get in touch via below.

  • Is Plant Based Protein Good for you?

Protein is one of the three key ‘macronutrients’ responsible for building and repairing tissue, and should be consumed regularly within a healthy, balanced diet. It is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood.

  • Is Plant Based Protein Healthy?

Plant based protein powders are not only a great source of planet-friendly protein, but may often contain other beneficial nutrients. Unlike whey protein for example, hemp protein does not contain cholesterol or saturated fat, but does contain fiber, so called ‘good’ fats and other vitamins and minerals.

  • Is Plant Based Protein KETO Friendly?

Not all plant based protein powders are Keto friendly, however due to its low carb content the MYO REBUILD blend is Keto friendly.

  • Is Plant Based Protein good for building muscle?

Protein is the building block of our muscles. Eating adequate amounts of protein (plant-based or otherwise) helps you maintain muscle mass and promotes muscle growth when you do physical training and is crucial to optimal health and performance. Consuming protein in a healthy balanced diet is the optimum way to build muscles, and a plant-based protein powder can be part of that diet, however there are no “quick fixes” for building muscles.

  • Can Plant Based protein cause bloating?

As with any food, there is a chance plant-based protein powder can cause bloating. A common cause of bloating with traditional whey protein powders is lactose. Our plant based protein powders are lactose free.

  • How is Plant Based Protein made?

Typically grains, legumes or seeds are used to make plant-based protein powders. They are made by removing most of the fat and carbohydrates while isolating the protein components. Common vegan protein powders are made with pea, hemp, and brown rice.

  • Does Plant Protein expire?

Yes – plant-based protein powders can expire. All products should have a use by date. Please see individual pack for details.
